Garden Walkway Beginner Quilt Series
Ready to learn how to quilt?
Join us for our next quilting series in August through September, and learn everything you need to go from choosing fabric to assembling a beautiful quilt top.
This project is for anyone, from the very beginner to the pro!
We will start by picking out fabric and learning about the right tools. Then we will move on to cutting, sewing blocks, adding sashing and borders (and what the difference is), and assembling the quilt top. We will finish by learning how to put it all together and quilting options.

If picking fabric feels overwhelming, don’t worry—we’ve got you covered, and Tracy will be with you every step of the way.
Class Schedule
August 3 – Introduction, fabric list, supplies, and fabric prep
August 17- Making the first cuts and sewing strips together, and making the perfect seams
August 31 – Creating blocks and adding sashing
September 21 – Assemble the quilt top and add borders
September 28 – Open Sew, ask questions and discuss finishing options.
